TITANIUM TRACE MAKING .

You will need 30lb 7 strand titanium wire.

Fox Bait fins ( for the bait holder hook )

1.3 mm crimps

Size 7 crimps for the hook positioning crimp

Owner Hyper Wire Split tings size 5 or 6

E sox camo brown crimp sleeves for top of trace

Esox red crimp sleeves  for hook end of trace. We prefer these to shrink tube because it is easier to check that everything is OK.

Two treble hooks usually size 4 or 6

Good quality crimping pliers we  use the Spro ones.

Trace blades or  wire cutters.

Cut the 30lb titanium wire into 4 equal lengths. About  30 inches

Put  two  1.3 crimps on the end of the  wire then then a split ring  . thread the wire once twice then a third time through the crimp until you can just see the end by the split rings. Then crimp and slide red cover over crimps,

Two more 1.3 mm crimps on the trace wire feed wire back through having put a split running on the wire then back through a third time tighten up with enough space to get the split ring off when required. Space between the split rings is about 3 .5 inches for most people.  Crimp in position slide  over red cover.  Put green cover on and complete trace with swivel and then crimp down after putting through a third time. Make sure you can still see the tail of the wire.

You will then have a trace about 22 inches long and you can now  attach trebles via the split rings as and when required
